So how do you work together (or collaborate) on complex challenges?
In my observed experience, not well.
When I see smart people come together it results in:
- Costly rework.
- Client escalations chewing up leadership time.
- Clients choosing to leave and go with competitors.
- Quality escapes of all kinds.
What do you do?
What I saw were three preferred ways of communicating that were getting in the way: Telling, Accepting, and Guessing.
